UPDATE: I am incredibly grateful to report that between the generous assistance from 6 people, and a phenomenal discount code from WordPress, I was able to pay for hosting of this site for two whole years!!! Thank you so much for your help! But it’s not all over yet.
Apparently, in an effort to keep me humble, the Universe decided, not more than a week after I paid for the website (and right before my birthday mind you) that it was time that my ancient laptop, which was already on its last legs for over a year but I’ve been babying it, gave up the ghost. It won’t even turn on any more, which means, in the interim, I am posting from an almost as old phone. (Which is all making me feel very much like the gorilla from the zoo, whose photo I took a while back.)
I will keep going as long as I can, and of course will use the public computers at the library when I can (ie. when I’m not working, or managing doctor appointments). But in the mean time, if you are at all able or inclined, please consider donating to my ko-fi page below (also listed on my Support page) to help me save up for a new-to-me laptop, to continue this work and my attempts to become a book review affiliate to try to supplement my income. (Why is that supplementation necessary, read about it on my About page)
It means the world to me.
Thank you!
